Carpenter Automotive & Transport Limited / Boroko Motors is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage automotive sales operations in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing customer relationships, managing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of business targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

SALES MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in automotive sales, dealership operations, or sales management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive products, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and achieve performance targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business development and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and business objectives.
• Manage daily sales operations and provide leadership to the sales team.
• Monitor sales performance, customer inquiries, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and business partners.
• Oversee the sales process from customer engagement to vehicle delivery.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales personnel to improve performance.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth customer transactions and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Promote a positive customer experience and support customer retention initiatives.
