Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Checker Pipeline to support pipeline fabrication and installation activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality checks, verifying pipeline alignment and workmanship, inspecting materials and installations, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.

CHECKER PIPELINE

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in pipeline inspection, construction, fabrication, or quality control activities.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline installation, fabrication processes, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret pipeline drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience in checking pipeline alignment, dimensions, and workmanship.
• Good documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on pipeline fabrication and installation activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with project specifications.
• Verify pipeline alignment, dimensions, fit-up, and workmanship according to approved drawings and technical requirements.
• Inspect pipeline materials, components, and completed installations to ensure conformity with project standards.
• Monitor construction activities and identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
• Document inspection findings and prepare reports for review by supervisors and quality control personnel.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, and construction teams regarding inspection requirements and corrective actions.
• Verify that pipeline installation activities follow approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project turnover activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
