INSTALLATION FITTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial installation, mechanical fitting, or plant construction projects.
• Experience working in LNG plants, Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, and other industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, equipment assembly, alignment, and fitting works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical layouts, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience in installation of pumps, valves, piping systems, compressors, tanks, structural components, and industrial equipment.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and permit-to-work systems in industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, align, and fit mechanical equipment and components according to project specifications and drawings.
• Perform fitting and installation of piping systems, valves, pumps, compressors, and related mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions.
• Inspect equipment and materials before installation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Carry out measurements, leveling, alignment, and adjustment of equipment during installation.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and report technical concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure efficient project execution.
• Complete assigned installation tasks within project schedules and deadlines.
