Housekeeping Staff

Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification, depending on the position.
• Preferably 28 years old or below.
• Presentable, well-groomed, and professional in appearance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to safely use cleaning tools, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Able to follow instructions, company policies, and workplace safety procedures.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and orderliness.
• Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, facilities, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and other areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and other fixtures.
• Make beds and replace bed linens, towels, and other room supplies when required.
• Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, cleaning materials, and other housekeeping supplies.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper presentation.
• Collect, sort, and handle used linens, towels, and other housekeeping materials according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping equipment, carts, storage rooms, and work areas.
• Properly use and handle cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Report damaged furniture, fixtures, equipment, maintenance problems, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Report lost and found items according to company procedures.
• Assist in deep cleaning and special housekeeping activities as assigned.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other staff to ensure assigned cleaning duties are completed on schedule.
• Respond professionally and courteously to reasonable guest or client requests related to housekeeping services.
• Follow company policies, sanitation requirements, health and safety procedures, and workplace standards.
• Maintain proper personal hygiene and a professional appearance at all times.
• Perform other housekeeping and cleaning duties assigned by supervisors or management.
