CLEANER (HOUSEKEEPING)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English with the employer.
• Must have a background in hotel, condominium, resort, or large-scale hotel cleaning/housekeeping.
• Proven experience performing general and deep cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, and housekeeping supplies.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work for extended periods.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, courteous, reliable, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
• Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and workplace procedures.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough deep cleaning of living spaces, guest rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered surfaces.
• Sweep and mop hard floors and other flooring surfaces.
• Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, mirrors, glass, and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and other bathroom fixtures.
• Apply appropriate disinfectants to high-touch areas, fixtures, appliances, and frequently used surfaces.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Make and maintain beds and ensure rooms are properly arranged and presented.
• Replenish toiletries, amenities, towels, linens, and other housekeeping supplies as required.
• Monitor stocks of cleaning products, toiletries, amenities, and other housekeeping materials.
• Report shortages of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.
• Promptly report damages, plumbing leaks, electrical concerns, broken fixtures, or other safety hazards to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned common areas and facilities.
• Collect, sort, and properly dispose of garbage and waste according to company procedures.
• Handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and properly.
• Clean and maintain housekeeping tools and equipment after use.
• Follow hotel, condominium, resort, or property-specific housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest or client requests.
• Address guest or client concerns appropriately and promptly refer unresolved issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Protect guest and client privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding property and personal belongings.
• Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks within required schedules and quality standards.
• Work closely with housekeeping supervisors and other hotel or property staff.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by management.
