DIVING & HYPERBARIC / DIVING MEDICAL NURSE
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Must be capable of providing professional nursing care in a specialized clinical setting.
- Must have good communication, observation, and patient-care skills.
- Must be able to follow clinical protocols, safety procedures, and medical instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients before, during, and after hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diving-related medical procedures.
- Review patient histories, vital signs, and relevant clinical information before treatment.
- Prepare patients for hyperbaric treatments and explain nursing-related instructions.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and promptly report changes in their condition.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diving medicine and hyperbaric care procedures.
- Observe patients for possible complications associated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and follow established emergency protocols.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, treatment documentation, and patient monitoring reports.
- Ensure that clinical equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained according to hospital procedures.
- Follow infection prevention, occupational safety, and patient care standards.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and relevant post-treatment care instructions.
- Coordinate with the medical team to support safe and effective patient care.
