Armed Forces Hospital Southern Region is offering a job opportunity for a qualified Radiology Nurse in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures while helping ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with hospital protocols.

RADIOLOGY NURSE

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
• Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must be qualified to provide nursing care in a radiology or diagnostic imaging setting.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Must be capable of following patient safety, infection control, and hospital clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients before, during, and after radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Verify patient identity, medical history, and relevant clinical information before examinations.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain nursing-related instructions.
• Monitor patients’ condition and provide appropriate nursing care during procedures.
• Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals with patient preparation and clinical procedures.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and radiation protection protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions, particularly when contrast agents are administered, and promptly report concerns.
• Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation.
• Ensure that patient care equipment and supplies are properly prepared and available.
• Coordinate with radiology staff and other hospital departments to support efficient patient care.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established hospital procedures.
