Grapecare LTD. is offering an overseas employment opportunity in the Czech Republic for qualified GMAW / SMAW Welders with experience in welding and steel reinforcement production.

Successful applicants will perform welding work on reinforcement cages, operate reinforcement-cage production lines, and assist with the fabrication and handling of steel components. Depending on the assigned position, duties may also include welding steel bridge structures, securing reinforcement bars for lifting, and operating gantry or tower cranes.

GMAW / SMAW Welder

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Experienced in GMAW and SMAW welding.
• Able to perform welding and steel fabrication tasks according to production requirements.
• Experience in locksmithing or metalworking and machine operation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of reinforcement bars, steel components, welding procedures, and safe material handling.
• Able to follow technical instructions and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Weld reinforcement cages, also known as rebar baskets or armo-baskets, according to production requirements.
• Operate and monitor reinforcement-cage production line equipment.
• Perform GMAW and SMAW welding tasks according to the required specifications.
• Tie and secure reinforcement bars to maintain proper positioning and stability.
• Prepare steel components and reinforcement materials for welding and assembly.
• Inspect welded joints and fabricated components for visible defects and workmanship quality.
• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of steel structures.
• Weld steel bridge structures when assigned to positions requiring this specialization.
• Secure loads and reinforcement materials for safe lifting and movement.
• Operate gantry or tower cranes when assigned and properly authorized.
• Operate relevant production machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
