CONSTRUCTION WORKER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- At least High School Graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Must have experience in refinery, petrochemical, and maintenance work.
- Previous experience in industrial construction or maintenance projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with refinery, petrochemical plant, or industrial facility working environments.
- Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions, work procedures, and safety requirements.
- Physically fit and capable of performing heavy manual work.
- Ability to work outdoors, in industrial facilities, and in demanding site conditions.
- Willing to work in confined or restricted work areas when required and when properly trained and authorized.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and responsible.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a construction or maintenance team.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, and extended hours when required by the project.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction and maintenance activities at industrial sites, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and related projects.
- Assist skilled workers, technicians, mechanics, welders, electricians, and other construction personnel with assigned tasks.
- Load, unload, move, and properly store construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare work areas, materials, and equipment for construction and maintenance activities.
- Assist with dismantling, installation, repair, and maintenance activities as directed.
- Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, cleaning, assembling, and preparing materials.
- Assist with equipment installation, structural work, piping activities, and other industrial construction tasks when required.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and correctly.
- Assist in the preparation and cleaning of work areas before, during, and after construction or maintenance activities.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, engineers, and skilled tradespeople.
- Support maintenance teams during planned and emergency maintenance activities.
- Assist with shutdown, turnaround, repair, and general maintenance work in refinery and petrochemical facilities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around work areas and ensure materials and tools are stored safely.
- Follow approved work procedures, site rules, and industrial safety requirements.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, hazards, and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Work effectively with multicultural construction and maintenance teams.
- Perform other construction, maintenance, and site-support duties assigned by management.
