PIPE INSTALLER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pipe Installer, Pipe Fitter, or related position.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, plot plans, and P&ID drawings.
- Experienced in pipe fitting, alignment, piping layout, and field erection.
- Skilled in gas cutting, pipe threading, and pipe grooving.
- Knowledge and experience in installing piping supports.
- Proficient in handling and operating power and mechanical tools.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of proper safe working practices and procedures.
- Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred.
- ARAMCO approval is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of performing field-based piping and construction work.
- Male applicants are preferred for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, plot plans, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) drawings.
- Perform piping layout, installation, field erection, fitting, and alignment according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes and fittings for installation.
- Perform gas cutting, pipe threading, and grooving as required.
- Install and assemble pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and other piping components.
- Install and position piping supports according to drawings and project requirements.
- Perform pipe fit-up and alignment before welding, joining, or final installation.
- Safely operate power tools, mechanical tools, and other equipment required for piping works.
- Inspect piping installations to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, positioning, and workmanship.
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, supervisors, and other trades during piping installation activities.
- Follow approved work procedures, site rules, safety requirements, and proper safe working practices.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report defective materials, incorrect dimensions, alignment problems, or other site issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe and usable condition.
- Perform other piping-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or project management.
