SCAFFOLDER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Scaffolder.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Experience in scaffold erection, installation, modification, inspection, and dismantling.
• Ability to safely assemble and dismantle different types of scaffolding structures.
• Knowledge of scaffold components, couplers, braces, platforms, ladders, base plates, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and follow scaffold drawings, plans, measurements, and technical instructions.
• Good understanding of working-at-height and scaffolding safety procedures.
• Experience in GCC countries is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, and working at elevated heights.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various construction site conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow instructions from supervisors, engineers, and competent personnel.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining secure working platforms.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and disciplined.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced construction environment and follow project safety requirements.
• Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, erect, install, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to approved plans and site requirements.
• Inspect scaffolding components, materials, and equipment before use to ensure they are safe and in good condition.
• Select and prepare appropriate scaffold tubes, frames, couplers, boards, platforms, braces, base plates, and other components.
• Set up scaffolding on stable and suitable surfaces according to established safety procedures.
• Ensure scaffolding structures are properly aligned, level, secured, braced, and supported.
• Install safe working platforms, guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, stairways, and other required safety components.
• Follow scaffold designs, drawings, specifications, and instructions provided by supervisors or competent personnel.
• Measure and assess scaffold dimensions, heights, working levels, and required materials before and during installation.
• Modify or extend scaffolding structures as construction activities and site requirements change.
• Dismantle scaffolding safely and systematically after completion of work or when instructed.
• Properly stack, organize, and store dismantled scaffold materials to prevent damage and workplace hazards.
• Conduct routine visual inspections of scaffolding and immediately report defects, damage, instability, or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure scaffolding remains safe and secure throughout construction and maintenance activities.
• Assist with tagging, identification, and inspection requirements for scaffolding where applicable.
• Maintain clear and safe access to scaffold platforms and work areas.
• Coordinate with construction workers, supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure scaffolding meets project requirements.
• Assist workers in safely accessing elevated work areas and ensure platforms are suitable for intended activities.
• Handle scaffold materials, tools, and equipment safely while minimizing damage and material waste.
• Maintain clean and organized scaffold work areas and storage locations.
• Follow site safety rules, working-at-height procedures, and company policies at all times.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety harnesses and fall-protection equipment when required.
• Follow proper procedures when working at heights and around other construction activities.
• Immediately report accidents, hazards, unsafe scaffold conditions, and damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Perform other scaffolding, construction support, and site duties assigned by management.
