Committee Australia is seeking qualified and experienced Filipino Heavy-Duty Mechanics for an overseas work opportunity in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment.
HEAVY-DUTY MECHANIC
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino applicant.
- Strong experience in heavy-duty diesel engine diagnosis and repair.
- Experience in both auto electrical systems and automotive air conditioning.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment and trucks.
- Must have completed 4 years of High School and at least 1 year of College, with the 1st and 2nd semesters completed, or 1 year of vocational training.
- Good English communication skills.
- Must be able to provide a valid Certificate of Employment (COE).
- Applicant must be currently employed or must have been employed in their previous job no more than 6 months ago and be able to provide a COE.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work safely with heavy vehicles, diesel engines, electrical systems, and workshop equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel engines and related mechanical systems.
- Perform inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational problems in trucks and heavy equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in safe and reliable operating condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform appropriate repairs.
- Diagnose and repair auto electrical systems in heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot automotive air conditioning systems.
- Repair or replace faulty mechanical, electrical, and related components.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance according to established procedures.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and mechanical tools.
- Conduct post-repair inspections and operational checks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and identified faults when required.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, workshop procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and work area.
- Report major mechanical or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Work effectively with other mechanics, technicians, and workshop personnel.
