Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Material Supervisor to oversee warehouse and material management operations for its construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of construction materials while ensuring efficient coordination with procurement, logistics, warehouse personnel, and project teams to support uninterrupted project execution.

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Material Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Supervisor, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material management.
• Experience using manual and computerized inventory management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural construction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse and material yard.
• Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and distribution of construction materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse staff, and project engineers to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized inventory management systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and material audits.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, preservation, and identification of materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare inventory reports, material movement records, and warehouse performance reports.
• Implement and enforce company policies related to inventory control, quality, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Supervise warehouse personnel and promote safe, efficient, and organized warehouse operations.
