Al Abdulghani Motors / TOYOTA – QATAR is seeking an experienced Applicator specializing in Paint Protection Films (PPF) and Window Tint Installation. The successful candidate should be skilled in precise film application and capable of producing a professional, clean, and bubble-free finish while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
APPLICATOR (Paint Protection Films & Window Tint Installer)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a PPF Applicator, Window Tint Installer, Automotive Film Installer, or similar position.
- Proven practical experience installing Paint Protection Films (PPF) and automotive window tint.
- Ability to achieve a professional and bubble-free finish.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle surface preparation and film application techniques.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise cutting, positioning, and installation.
- Ability to work carefully around vehicle paintwork, glass, trims, and interior components.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to identify and correct bubbles, wrinkles, lifting edges, misalignment, and other installation defects.
- Familiarity with professional PPF and window tint installation tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and consistent finishing quality.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when required.
- Reliable, hardworking, and customer-oriented.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) on vehicle body panels and other designated surfaces.
- Install automotive window tint films according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, degreasing, and removing dust, dirt, wax, and other contaminants.
- Measure, cut, position, and apply PPF and window tint accurately.
- Ensure proper alignment and smooth application of films around curves, edges, corners, and other vehicle surfaces.
- Apply films using appropriate squeegees, cutting tools, heat guns, and other specialized installation equipment.
- Remove air bubbles, wrinkles, creases, and other imperfections during the installation process.
- Achieve a professional, durable, and bubble-free finish on every completed installation.
- Trim and finish film edges neatly to achieve a clean and factory-quality appearance.
- Inspect completed installations for lifting edges, trapped moisture, bubbles, scratches, or other defects.
- Correct installation imperfections and perform necessary rework to meet quality standards.
- Handle PPF and tint materials carefully to prevent contamination, scratches, stretching, or damage.
- Follow proper installation techniques and manufacturer recommendations for different film types.
- Protect vehicle interiors, paintwork, trim, and other components during the installation process.
- Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and the installation area in clean and organized condition.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and proper handling of cutting tools, chemicals, and heat equipment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other automotive service personnel regarding job requirements and vehicle condition.
- Communicate professionally with customers when explaining installation requirements, care instructions, and completed work.
- Complete assigned installations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
