KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Equipment) to support maintenance operations in oil and gas plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

DIESEL MECHANIC (HEAVY EQUIPMENT)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience as a Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Equipment).
• Must have maintenance experience with heavy vehicles in an Oil & Gas plant environment.
• Must have an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Certification.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experienced in preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of heavy-duty vehicles and machinery.
• Ability to read technical manuals, service guides, and equipment specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality maintenance practices.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines used in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
• Troubleshoot engine problems, mechanical faults, and equipment performance issues.
• Conduct engine overhauls, repairs, and replacement of defective components when required.
• Perform routine inspections and servicing according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel to support equipment availability and reliability.
• Follow company safety policies and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at all times.
