Cygnet Bay Sales Pty Ltd is offering an overseas employment opportunity for qualified applicants seeking a Plasterer position in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing plasterboard and wall linings, applying wet plaster and render, finishing surfaces, installing decorative features, and repairing damaged plasterwork.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
- High school graduates must be willing to take the IELTS or PTE English proficiency test.
- Must have practical knowledge of plasterboard installation, drylining, wet plastering, and rendering.
- Must be skilled in joint finishing, sanding, surface preparation, and plasterwork repairs.
- Experience installing decorative mouldings, fire-rated systems, acoustic materials, and insulation is an advantage.
- Must have good attention to detail and the ability to produce smooth, high-quality finishes.
- Must be familiar with construction tools, materials, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Must be willing and qualified to work in Australia, subject to applicable employment and visa requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, lift, and install plasterboard panels, ceiling boards, and composite wall linings.
- Mix and apply plaster, cement, lime, and render to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Cover plasterboard joints, screw holes, and corner beads using appropriate sealing compounds.
- Sand, smooth, and finish plastered surfaces to prepare them for painting or other decorative treatments.
- Install pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, and other decorative architectural features.
- Fit specialized plastering systems, including fire-rated systems, acoustic tiles, insulation, and vapour barriers.
- Inspect damaged or water-affected plasterwork and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Prepare work surfaces and ensure materials are properly measured, mixed, and applied.
- Use plastering tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while complying with construction safety requirements.
