Job Location: Mozambique
Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Piping Foreman to supervise piping installation and fabrication activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will lead piping crews, coordinate daily work activities, and ensure that all piping works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
PIPING FOREMAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Piping Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of piping installation, fabrication, maintenance, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead piping crews in the installation, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to ensure project milestones and construction schedules are achieved.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure piping installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
- Monitor work quality and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Enforce compliance with company safety policies and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices among crew members.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports, work accomplishment records, and other required documentation.
- Identify and resolve site issues affecting productivity, quality, or safety.
