CNC PROGRAMMER (LATHE & MILL)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a CNC Programmer (Lathe & Mill).
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines (Hyundai or similar equipment).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models and produce CAM programs.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tool offsets, and machine calibration.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Experience in inspecting finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance of CNC machines and production equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures in machining and manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineers and QC teams.
- Good communication skills and ability to train other machine operators.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to develop CAM programs.
- Load materials into machines and monitor machining operations.
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and job order documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to meet specifications.
- Support process improvement and optimization of manufacturing operations.
- Train and assist other personnel in CNC machine operation and techniques.
- Complete daily timesheets and work reports.
- Perform other related duties as required within job capability.
