Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Floor Vinyl Installer to join flooring installation projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and installing vinyl flooring systems across residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial environments while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

FLOOR VINYL INSTALLER

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Floor Vinyl Installer, Flooring Installer, or similar role is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in floor preparation, vinyl flooring installation, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using flooring tools and installation equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install flooring materials.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to comply with workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare floors and install vinyl flooring materials in various environments, including residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial settings.
  • Measure and assess installation areas to determine material requirements and ensure accurate fitting.
  • Prepare floor surfaces through cleaning, leveling, sanding, and application of damp-proof membrane (DPM) layers and leveling compounds.
  • Install vinyl and safety flooring materials according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Cut and fit flooring materials accurately around walls, corners, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Apply adhesives and secure flooring materials properly to ensure durability and quality.
  • Weld and seal vinyl flooring joints to achieve a clean and professional finish.
  • Install cove formers, skirting, and finishing trims as required.
  • Read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
  • Assist with other site duties when required.
