Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Suspended Ceiling Worker to join construction and interior finishing projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing suspended ceiling systems, coordinating with other trades, interpreting construction drawings, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining compliance with site safety requirements.

SUSPENDED CEILING WORKER

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Suspended Ceiling Installer, Ceiling Worker, Drywall Installer, or similar construction role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Competent in using hand tools and power tools related to ceiling installation.
  • Good understanding of measuring, setting out, and leveling techniques.
  • Experience installing different types of ceiling systems and materials.
  • Ability to work safely at height and follow site safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Install suspended ceiling grid systems, including T-bar, exposed, and concealed ceiling systems.
  • Set out ceiling layouts accurately based on construction drawings and site plans.
  • Install hanger wires, brackets, and ceiling support systems.
  • Fit ceiling tiles and panels, including acoustic, fire-rated, mineral fibre, metal, and other ceiling materials.
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical contractors for service integration.
  • Cut, adjust, and install ceiling materials around lighting fixtures, HVAC systems, sprinkler systems, and other building services.
  • Ensure all ceiling installations are level, properly aligned, and completed according to project standards.
  • Inspect completed work and perform necessary adjustments to achieve quality finishes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment on site.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including regulations for working at height.
  • Assist with other site duties when required.
