Job Location: Mozambique

Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking a qualified Piping Engineer to support piping engineering and construction activities for projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and supervising piping systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

PIPING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Piping Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design, fabrication, installation, and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations related to piping systems.
  • Ability to interpret piping drawings, layouts, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and supervise piping systems in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards.
  • Prepare and review piping layouts, isometric drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Manage piping fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing activities to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and construction personnel.
  • Ensure piping works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical support to construction teams.
  • Resolve piping design and installation issues and recommend effective engineering solutions.
  • Review material specifications, technical submittals, and engineering documents.
  • Support quality control activities, inspections, and project handover documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements throughout project activities.
