We are seeking qualified candidates for the Automobile Maintenance (Specified Skilled Worker – SSW) program in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing while ensuring compliance with Japanese quality and safety standards.

Automobile Maintenance (SSW)

Qualifications:

  • Former Technical Intern Trainees (TITP) with a Grade 3 Level Skills Evaluation Certificate.
  • Must have successfully passed the Automobile Maintenance Skills Prometric Examination.
  • Must possess either:
    • Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 Certificate, or
    • Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic) Certificate.
  • Must hold a valid Philippine Driver’s License with at least two (2) years of driving experience.
  • Willing to work in Japan for 3 to 5 years under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program.
  • Willing to comply with company rules, regulations, and workplace policies.
  • Previous work experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair, vehicle diagnostics, and maintenance procedures is preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of automobiles.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical system maintenance.
  • Replace worn or defective vehicle parts and components.
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotation, wheel alignment, and other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete required maintenance documentation.
  • Follow workplace safety regulations and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and service area.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the employer in accordance with company policies.
