Tomoe Car Co., Ltd is seeking qualified Filipino automotive workers for an overseas employment opportunity in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program.
AUTOMOTIVE (SSW)
Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino applicant.
- Willing to undergo Nihongo (Japanese language) training.
- Must have an interest and willingness to work in Japan for a maximum of 5 years, subject to applicable SSW requirements and employment conditions.
- Must meet the required Japanese language proficiency and automotive skills test requirements.
- Must have at least completed a Technical Intern Training Program.
- Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of automobile repair and disassembly maintenance.
- Ability to use automotive tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn Japanese automotive workplace practices and technical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical or operational problems.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Inspect major vehicle components and systems for proper operation and safety.
- Perform automobile repair and maintenance according to established procedures.
- Carry out vehicle disassembly maintenance as required.
- Remove, inspect, repair, replace, and reinstall automotive components.
- Identify defective, worn, or damaged vehicle parts.
- Perform maintenance work on mechanical and related vehicle systems.
- Use appropriate automotive tools and equipment during inspection and repair.
- Follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and workplace standards.
- Conduct appropriate checks after repair and maintenance work.
- Maintain a clean and organized automotive work area.
- Follow Japanese workplace safety and operational procedures.
- Work cooperatively with other automotive technicians and supervisors.
- Perform other vehicle maintenance and repair duties as assigned.

- High school diploma / college diploma (photocopy)
- Certificate of employment (COE) (photocopy & original)
- PEOS certificate and e-registration
- One (1) long expanding brown envelope
