STAFF NURSE

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Must be a holder of an active Philippine PRC nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• No employment or practice gap exceeding 6 months, as specified in the vacancy requirements.
• Must have an active Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) specialist classification or registration, as required by the employer.
• Competency in IV cannulation.
• Knowledge and skills in ECG interpretation and clinical case management.
• Knowledge of epinephrine dosage and administration during resuscitation.
• Familiarity with resuscitation intervals and emergency response protocols.
• Competency in chest pain assessment and management, including medications and procedures.
• Knowledge of Code Blue management, including emergency medications, procedures, and resuscitation protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical standards and hospital protocols.
• Assess patients’ conditions, monitor vital signs, and report significant changes to the attending physician or appropriate healthcare professional.
• Perform intravenous (IV) cannulation and other authorized nursing procedures.
• Interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and recognize relevant cardiac abnormalities within the scope of nursing practice.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Demonstrate knowledge of epinephrine dosage and administration during resuscitation, following applicable protocols.
• Participate in chest pain assessment and management, including patient monitoring, prescribed medications, and appropriate clinical procedures.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in Code Blue situations, including resuscitation procedures and emergency medication administration within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital documentation standards.
