Burjeel Medical City (BMC) is seeking qualified and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide safe, professional, and patient-centered nursing care in a home healthcare setting in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering quality nursing services, monitoring patients’ conditions, supporting treatment plans, and coordinating with physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients’ families.
REGISTERED NURSE
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with valid professional nursing credentials.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a home healthcare setup.
- Applicants from all areas are welcome.
- Candidates with DOH / previously HAAD credentials may be processed on an expedited basis.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care procedures, infection control, and medication safety.
- Experience providing individualized nursing care in a home or community healthcare environment.
- Ability to assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes in health status, and respond appropriately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, responsible, and professional approach to patient care.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective coordination with the healthcare team.
- Willingness to follow clinical protocols, healthcare standards, and employer policies.
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety, dignity, confidentiality, and quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to patients in a home healthcare setting.
- Assess patients’ health conditions and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall progress.
- Implement individualized nursing care plans according to patients’ medical needs and physician instructions.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed.
- Perform routine nursing procedures and provide appropriate clinical care within the scope of professional practice.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report significant findings to physicians or supervising healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, independence, and safety.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other appropriate nursing interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records, nursing notes, treatment records, and other required documentation.
- Educate patients and family members regarding medications, treatment plans, health management, and appropriate home care practices.
- Provide guidance to family members and caregivers on patient care and safety procedures when required.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and use of appropriate PPE.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy and professional standards.
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patients’ conditions and assist in managing urgent or emergency situations.
- Ensure nursing equipment and supplies are properly used, maintained, and available when needed.
- Follow established clinical protocols, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients receiving care at home.
- Participate in patient monitoring, follow-up, and continuity-of-care activities.
- Perform other nursing duties and responsibilities assigned by the healthcare team or management.
