BizLink Technology is seeking qualified and experienced Packing / Crating Technicians to support its manufacturing and logistics operations in Malaysia. The successful candidates will be responsible for the final packing and crating of products according to packaging specifications, customer requirements, and shipment standards. The role also involves proper labeling, shipment identification, material handling, and supporting loading and unloading activities while maintaining workplace safety and product protection.

Packing / Crating Technician

Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in final packing and crating of products according to packaging specifications and customer requirements.
  • Familiarity with proper packing materials, packaging methods, labeling, and shipment identification.
  • Knowledge of product protection, cushioning, wrapping, securing, and proper crate or carton preparation.
  • Ability to follow packaging specifications, work instructions, customer requirements, and shipment procedures accurately.
  • Ability to inspect products and packaging for completeness, damage, and proper identification.
  • Experience supporting loading, unloading, and material handling activities.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting, carrying, stacking, and handling procedures.
  • Physically capable of handling cartons, crates, pallets, and other materials as required.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools and packing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in product identification, labeling, and shipment preparation.
  • Ability to maintain accurate packing and shipment records.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills when coordinating with production and logistics personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform final packing and crating of finished products according to established packaging specifications and customer requirements.
  • Inspect products before packing to ensure they are complete, properly identified, and ready for shipment.
  • Select and use appropriate packing materials based on product type, size, weight, and shipping requirements.
  • Prepare cartons, crates, pallets, protective materials, cushioning, wrapping, and other packaging materials.
  • Secure products properly to prevent movement, damage, contamination, or breakage during transportation.
  • Ensure proper placement of protective materials and supports inside cartons and crates.
  • Follow customer-specific packaging instructions and shipment requirements accurately.
  • Apply appropriate labels, markings, barcodes, and shipment identification to packed products.
  • Verify product identification, quantity, packing lists, and shipping information before final packing.
  • Ensure packages and crates are properly sealed, secured, and clearly identified before dispatch.
  • Perform visual inspection of completed packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Report damaged products, incorrect quantities, missing components, or packaging issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Support the preparation and movement of finished products to designated storage or shipping areas.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of products, materials, cartons, crates, and pallets.
  • Perform material handling activities using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment.
  • Properly arrange packed products in storage and shipment areas to maximize space and prevent damage.
  • Follow proper lifting, carrying, stacking, and securing procedures for heavy or bulky products.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe packing and crating work areas.
  • Properly store and manage packing materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Use hand tools and packaging equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow company procedures, workplace safety rules, and customer packaging standards.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring of packing materials and report shortages when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate packing, labeling, and shipment documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment preparation.
  • Perform other packing, crating, warehouse, and material handling duties as assigned.
