ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with KHS and Krones production lines.
- Familiarity with filling and packaging machines is required.
- Work experience in mechanical maintenance within the beverage, food, or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machinery controls, motors, drives, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures for industrial production equipment.
- Experience with electrical testing, fault diagnosis, instrumentation testing, and calibration.
- Ability to work effectively during production breakdowns and under time-sensitive conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability and workplace safety.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with electrical, mechanical, production, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems used in industrial production machinery and factory facilities.
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in manufacturing and beverage-production equipment.
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, motor drives, sensors, control circuits, and related electrical components.
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct scheduled inspections of circuit breakers, transformers, control panels, electrical cabinets, and other equipment.
- Identify potential electrical faults and address issues before they cause production interruptions.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems associated with production lines.
- Assist with electrical installation and modification of machinery and production-line equipment.
- Test electrical components and circuits using appropriate testing and diagnostic instruments.
- Test and calibrate plant instrumentation devices used for temperature, pressure, flow, and other process measurements.
- Troubleshoot sensors, instrumentation, control devices, and related electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical connections, wiring, terminals, switches, relays, contactors, and other components for damage or abnormal conditions.
- Support the maintenance and reliable operation of filling, packaging, conveying, and other beverage-production machinery.
- Perform electrical maintenance on KHS and Krones production lines.
- Coordinate with mechanical maintenance personnel when electrical and mechanical faults are interconnected.
- Record maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, inspections, and replacement of electrical components.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
- Ensure all electrical maintenance work is performed in accordance with workplace safety procedures.
- Properly isolate and secure electrical equipment before performing maintenance or repair work.
- Maintain electrical tools, testing equipment, spare parts, and work areas in good condition.
- Support production and engineering teams during equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Perform other electrical maintenance and technical duties assigned by management.
