FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related Field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in both financial accounting and financial analysis roles, with strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis techniques.
• Proficient in MYOB accounting software, advance excel skills. Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting standards and business operations.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks & meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Comfortable working across different departments and communicating financial data to non financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing financial needs or priorities.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings and advertising management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial accounting activities including preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in all financial reporting.
• Supervise and guide the team responsible for fixed asset management, inventory control, and cost control functions.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and coordinate regular physical asset verifications and reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory accounting processes to ensure accurate recording, stock reconciliation, and valuation.
• Monitor and analyse cost control measures to identify variances and recommend improvements.
• Conduct financial analysis to forecast trends, assess financial performance, and support strategic planning
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely completion with minimal findings.
