BizLink Technology is seeking qualified and experienced Assembly Technicians to support the assembly and production of Power Box and Box Build products in Malaysia. The successful candidates will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, component installation, wiring, cable routing, fastening, labeling, and final assembly while following technical drawings, work instructions, product specifications, and required quality standards.

Assembly Technician

Qualifications:

  • Must have relevant experience in mechanical and electrical assembly of Power Box and Box Build products.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical product assembly is required.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.
  • Experience with component installation, wiring, cable routing, fastening, labeling, and final assembly.
  • Knowledge of proper electrical wiring and cable-management practices.
  • Ability to perform accurate component installation and mechanical fastening.
  • Must be able to perform basic inspection and quality verification of completed products.
  • Good understanding of assembly processes, production procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify assembly defects and quality issues.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow standardized procedures and maintain consistent production quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive assembly tasks and standing for extended periods as required.
  • Reliable, disciplined, safety-conscious, and willing to follow company production and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of Power Box and Box Build products according to approved work instructions.
  • Read and follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.
  • Install electrical, mechanical, and other components accurately according to assembly requirements.
  • Perform wiring and electrical connections according to specified layouts and technical requirements.
  • Route and organize cables and wires properly to ensure safe and efficient assembly.
  • Install connectors, terminals, harnesses, switches, hardware, and other required components.
  • Perform fastening, tightening, securing, and alignment of components using appropriate hand and power tools.
  • Ensure components are correctly positioned, aligned, and securely installed.
  • Apply product labels, identification markings, cable labels, and other required tags accurately.
  • Perform final assembly and ensure all components are complete and properly secured.
  • Conduct basic visual and functional inspections of completed assemblies.
  • Verify completed products against drawings, specifications, checklists, and work instructions.
  • Identify incorrect components, loose connections, wiring issues, missing parts, or assembly defects.
  • Report quality issues, defects, or abnormalities to supervisors or quality personnel.
  • Perform rework or corrective assembly activities as instructed.
  • Use measuring tools, hand tools, electrical tools, and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain proper organization of components, tools, materials, and workstations.
  • Follow established production processes, quality procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the assembly and production area.
  • Minimize component damage, material waste, and assembly errors through careful handling.
  • Complete production records, inspection checklists, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, quality-control, and other team members to resolve assembly issues.
  • Support continuous improvement activities aimed at improving assembly quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform other mechanical, electrical, and production assembly duties assigned by management.
