CHEF ASSISTANT (ITALIAN CUISINE)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants only.
  • 24–35 years old.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef Assistant, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role, preferably in Italian cuisine.
  • Knowledge of Italian food preparation, ingredients, cooking methods, and menu items.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Presentable personality with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Familiar with food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Must possess a valid passport.
  • Muslim applicants only.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing authentic Italian dishes according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Prepare, wash, chop, and organize ingredients before food production.
  • Support the cooking of pasta, pizza, sauces, salads, appetizers, and other Italian menu items.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in proper storage, stock rotation, and ingredient replenishment.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Assist with receiving and inspecting food deliveries to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service during busy operations.
  • Minimize food waste by following proper portion control and food handling procedures.
  • Perform opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Carry out other kitchen and food preparation tasks assigned by the Head Chef or management.
