Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences is seeking qualified candidates for a Waiter / Waitress position in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist guests with food and beverage service while providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service in a hotel environment.
Waiter / Waitress
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
- Experience as a waiter, waitress, food server, restaurant server, or similar hospitality role is an advantage.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a hospitality team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment.
- Good attention to detail when taking and serving orders.
- Willingness to follow hotel service standards and workplace procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Ensure guests receive their orders accurately and promptly.
- Set up and maintain dining tables, service areas, and restaurant sections.
- Check that tables are properly prepared with necessary cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other service items.
- Respond to guest requests and provide information about menu items when required.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly communicate concerns to supervisors.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth service.
- Follow hotel policies, service procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform other food and beverage service duties assigned by the supervisor.
