Job Location: Mozambique
Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Pipe Support Foreman to lead pipe support installation and fabrication crews for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
PIPE SUPPORT FOREMAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pipe Support Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of pipe support installation, fabrication, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, support details, and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pipe support crews and assign daily work activities.
- Coordinate pipe support installation and fabrication activities in accordance with project schedules.
- Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, project requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards.
- Monitor work progress and productivity to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, quality control personnel, and other construction teams to resolve site issues.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify workmanship and identify corrective actions when necessary.
- Enforce company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and promote safe work practices among crew members.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment at all times.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower reports, and work accomplishment records.
