SUPERVISOR – DRY SQUARING
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience in ceramic or porcelain tile manufacturing, dry squaring, or similar production operations is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, quality control, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership, manpower management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor production schedules, machine performance, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee all activities related to the dry squaring operation.
- Ensure ceramic and porcelain tiles are cut and squared to the required dimensions and specifications.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Manage manpower allocation and ensure efficient utilization of production personnel.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance personnel to address machine issues and breakdowns.
- Ensure production schedules and daily output targets are achieved.
- Monitor process efficiency and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
- Minimize material waste, production losses, and equipment downtime.
- Ensure proper operation and adjustment of dry squaring machinery and equipment.
- Monitor production processes and promptly address quality or operational issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare required reports.
- Ensure employees follow established production procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular checks of the work area, equipment, and production processes to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Supervise, train, and guide production personnel as required.
- Coordinate with other production and maintenance departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform other supervisory and production-related duties as assigned.
