PP EXTRUDER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the plastic extrusion industry.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in PP sheet extrusion is mandatory.
• Experience operating KOOFOR or RRP Extruders is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of polypropylene (PP) material behavior and processing parameters.
• Ability to troubleshoot sheet defects and production issues.
• Understanding of screw design, die gap adjustments, and calendar alignment.
• Basic understanding of PLC interfaces and machine control panels.
• Knowledge of extrusion line setup, operation, and quality control procedures.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor PP sheet extrusion machines and related equipment.
• Set up extrusion parameters according to production requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor material flow, temperature settings, pressure levels, and machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and correct sheet defects and process abnormalities.
• Adjust die gaps, calendar alignment, and machine settings to optimize product quality.
• Perform routine inspections of machinery and production output.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and efficiency targets.
• Record production data, machine settings, and operational reports accurately.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality control personnel regarding production issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
