Plumber (Construction | Can Read Blueprints & Plans)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Plumber.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and plumbing drawings.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing installation methods, materials, and construction practices.
- Skilled in the use of plumbing tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary piping.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and plumbing drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Measure, cut, thread, and connect pipes and fittings using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, valves, pumps, and related components.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation before project turnover.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues during construction and installation.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with building codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction trades to complete projects efficiently.
