FPA Pacific Corp. is seeking an experienced Concrete Batch Plant Operator to oversee the operation of concrete batching equipment in the Northern Mariana Islands. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality concrete mixes, monitoring plant operations, maintaining production records, and ensuring efficient and safe batching processes in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
Concrete Batch Plant Operator
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
- At least a High School Graduate.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Batch Plant Operator or in a similar role within the concrete, construction, asphalt, or quarry industry.
- Hands-on experience operating batching systems and producing accurate concrete mixes.
- Knowledgeable in batching plant operations, material proportioning, and quality control procedures.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to record, monitor, and maintain production data.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under production deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of climbing, lifting, and working at heights when required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the concrete batching plant to ensure accurate material proportions and consistent concrete quality.
- Produce concrete mixes according to approved mix designs, specifications, and production schedules.
- Monitor batching equipment and control systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and daily operational reports.
- Inspect batching equipment and perform routine operational checks to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and promptly report mechanical or electrical faults for repair.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, dispatch, and site teams to meet project requirements and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, workplace safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the batching plant and surrounding work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
