Max Marketing and Publishing PTE Limited is offering an overseas employment opportunity for a Post Press Machine Operator in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will operate and maintain post-press equipment used for folding, gathering, stitching, trimming, cutting, and binding printed materials.

POST PRESS MACHINE OPERATOR (Stahl Folder , Polar Guillotine)

Qualifications:

• Set up and operate Stahl folding machines to fold printed materials accurately according to job specifications.
• Operate Muller Martini gathering and stitching equipment to assemble and stitch booklets, magazines, and other publications.
• Set up and operate Polar guillotine cutting machines to trim printed products to the required dimensions.
• Set up and operate Mina binding equipment to achieve quality binding and finishing results.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate folding, gathering, stitching, cutting, and binding.
• Inspect finished products for alignment, correct dimensions, proper stitching, binding quality, and other defects.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output and product quality.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and production issues to minimize downtime and material waste.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and equipment checks on assigned machines.
• Coordinate with printing and production teams to meet production schedules and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records when required.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized production area.

Responsibilities:

• At least a high school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Post Press Machine Operator.
• Practical experience setting up and operating post-press finishing equipment.
• Experience with Stahl folders and Polar guillotine cutting machines.
• Familiarity with Muller Martini gathering and stitching equipment and Mina binding machines.
• Knowledge of folding, gathering, stitching, trimming, cutting, and binding processes.
• Ability to adjust machine settings and troubleshoot production problems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to finished-product quality.
• Ability to perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, production schedules, and workplace safety standards.
