MMT SARL is seeking reliable and hardworking Sample Preparation Aides (Production Operators) to support laboratory and mining operations in Congo. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing geological samples for testing by operating sample preparation equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory procedures.

Sample Preparation Aide (Production Operator)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 25–40 years old.
• Experience in production or manufacturing is required.
• Experience in the mining industry is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and operate laboratory equipment such as drying ovens, crushers, mills, and pulverizers.
• Physically fit and able to work in a high-dust environment while following strict safety procedures.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Unpack, sort, dry, crush, weigh, and pulverize geological samples according to laboratory procedures.
• Operate specialized equipment such as drying ovens, crushers, mills, and pulverizers.
• Accurately label, weigh, record, and log incoming samples for proper identification and traceability.
• Ensure samples are prepared in accordance with laboratory quality standards and testing requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sample preparation area and equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and strict health and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with other production and laboratory support tasks as assigned.

• NBI clearance (valid or with proof of release)
• Educational credentials (diploma, form 137, TOR)
• PEOS certificate
• Vax Certificate
