Boroko Motors is seeking an experienced Panel Manager to oversee vehicle body repair operations and ensure efficient workflow within the automotive service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing panel repair activities, coordinating technicians, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely completion of repair works in accordance with company procedures.

PANEL MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in automotive panel repair, body shop operations, or workshop supervision is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair processes, panel beating, and finishing standards.
• Ability to supervise technicians and manage daily workshop activities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the panel and vehicle body repair department.
• Supervise panel technicians and ensure efficient allocation of repair tasks.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles are completed according to quality and delivery standards.
• Inspect completed repair works to ensure proper workmanship and compliance with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with service advisors, insurance representatives, customers, and other departments regarding repair activities.
• Review repair assessments, work orders, and technical requirements.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Monitor productivity, turnaround time, and overall performance of the panel department.
• Provide technical guidance and support to panel repair personnel.
