Safco Aluminium Factory Co. is seeking a qualified Painter (Wood and Metals) to perform surface preparation, spray painting, and coating applications on aluminum, metal, and related components while ensuring high-quality finishing, color consistency, and compliance with safety standards.

PAINTER (Wood and Metals)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Painter in industrial, metal, aluminum, or manufacturing environments.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate Holder in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in metal and aluminum painting operations.
• Knowledge of industrial paints, coatings, primers, and finishing techniques.
• Experience in spray painting and/or powder coating processes.
• Familiarity with surface preparation procedures including sanding, cleaning, and masking.
• Ability to inspect finished products and identify coating defects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper handling of paint materials and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal, aluminum, and other surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and related preparation processes.
• Mix paints, coatings, and finishing materials according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Apply industrial paints and coatings using spray painting equipment or powder coating systems.
• Operate spray guns, painting tools, compressors, and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure uniform coating thickness, smooth finishes, and accurate color matching.
• Inspect painted surfaces and finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Perform touch-ups, corrections, and rework as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Maintain paint booths, spray equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations regarding paint handling and application.
• Monitor paint consumption and report material requirements to supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining production schedules and quality objectives.
