Aureol Global Connections is seeking experienced CNC Operators to join manufacturing operations in Ireland. The successful candidates will operate and maintain DMG Mori (Mori Seiki) CNC milling and lathe machines, producing precision components for the steel, metal, and aluminum manufacturing industries while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
CNC OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, preferably DMG Mori (Mori Seiki) equipment.
- Proven experience in the steel, metal, aluminum, or manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and conducting dimensional inspections.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
- Experience with preventive machine maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision components.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor DMG Mori (Mori Seiki) CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture precision metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and machining instructions.
- Load raw materials, tools, and fixtures into CNC machines and verify proper machine setup before production.
- Select and install the appropriate cutting tools, tool offsets, and machine parameters based on production requirements.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality.
- Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.
- Perform routine machine adjustments, tool changes, and minor troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency.
- Identify machining defects and implement corrective actions to minimize scrap and downtime.
- Carry out basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of CNC machines.
- Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and machine documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, engineering specifications, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other machining and manufacturing duties assigned by supervisors.
