Materials Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Experience in joinery factories, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and finished joinery products.
• Strong knowledge of material testing, quality assurance, and quality control procedures.
• Experience in developing testing protocols and evaluating material performance and durability.
• Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations, project specifications, and government standards.
• Experience in reviewing and verifying approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Previous GCC or Middle East work experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production teams to identify material and manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct physical testing and evaluation of material durability and performance.
• Develop and implement testing procedures and quality control protocols.
• Inspect raw materials, workmanship, and finished products to ensure compliance with approved standards and specifications.
• Ensure manufacturing materials comply with industry regulations and government requirements.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Prepare material specifications, testing reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, testing activities, and corrective actions.
• Verify alignment of approved drawings with project requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor production quality and recommend improvements to maintain consistency and reliability.
• Coordinate with managers, clients, and project teams regarding material quality concerns and compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality and operational performance.
