KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced Machinist to support precision machining and maintenance operations in oil and gas, petrochemical, and heavy industrial plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up machine tools, performing precision machining activities, and ensuring components are manufactured according to required specifications and quality standards.

MACHINIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Machinist.
• Must have experience working in an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical plant, or Heavy Industrial Plant.
• Proven experience in precision machining and CNC operations.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, machine setup, tooling selection, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision machining operations using conventional and CNC machine tools.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings and production requirements.
• Select and secure appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and raw materials for machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, machining specifications, and measurements.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and other machining processes as required.
• Adjust machine settings, cutting parameters, and CNC programs to achieve accurate dimensions and surface finishes.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain machine tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow company procedures, quality requirements, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
