Job Talent is offering an overseas employment opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner Operator in Belgium. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial machining and the ability to independently program and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls. Applicants should be experienced in manufacturing customised components and handling small production runs that require frequent programming changes and precision machining.

CNC TURNER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial machining is required.
• Experience in industrial machining within the chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, nuclear, or electronics industries.
• Ability to independently program and operate CNC machines using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls.
• Experience manufacturing customised parts and small production series of up to 100 units.
• Ability to handle frequent programming changes and varied machining requirements.
• Experience operating a 2-axis lathe, preferably the Gildemeister CTX400 S2.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Hypermill or TopSolid is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Vocational graduate or diploma holder in CNC Machining, Machining Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical course.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machining specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and quality control.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Independently program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling machines using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls, as applicable.
• Operate a 2-axis lathe, specifically the Gildemeister CTX400 S2.
• Manufacture customised components and small production batches of up to 100 units according to technical specifications.
• Program machines daily to produce different components with varying dimensions and machining requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, machining instructions, and component specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machining parameters, and production methods for each job.
• Monitor machining operations to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and required tolerances.
• Inspect finished components using appropriate measuring instruments and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify machining problems, adjust programs or machine settings, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Maintain CNC machines, cutting tools, and measuring equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised machining area.
