Manpower Resources of Asia is currently seeking highly skilled CNC Turner Programmers for its accredited client, Job Talent, in Belgium. The successful candidate will perform CNC programming, setup, and machining operations for precision industrial components in advanced manufacturing environments.

CNC Turner Programmer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial machining within any of the following industries:
    • Chemical
    • Automotive
    • Pharmaceutical
    • Nuclear
    • Electronics
  • Capable of independently programming and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
  • Proficient in Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls.
  • Experienced in machining custom-made parts and handling small production series of up to 100 units.
  • Able to perform daily programming for multiple and varied components.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Hypermill or TopSolid is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Skilled in operating 2-axis lathe machines, particularly Gildemeister CTX400 S2.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Vocational graduate or diploma holder in:
    • CNC Machining
    • Machining Technology
    • Mechanical Technology
    • Industrial Technology
    • Or related technical courses
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling machines for precision machining operations.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machining instructions accurately.
  • Manufacture custom-made parts and small production batches according to required tolerances and quality standards.
  • Perform daily CNC programming for varied and complex components.
  • Operate and monitor 2-axis lathe machines such as the Gildemeister CTX400 S2.
  • Conduct machine setup, tooling adjustments, calibration, and process optimization.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
    Maintain CNC machines, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures, operational standards, and production schedules at all times.
