Impera SRO is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to support industrial fabrication and assembly operations in Slovakia. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems and steel structures according to technical drawings and project specifications. The role requires experience in petrochemical equipment, pressure systems, and safe rigging practices.

PIPE FITTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Pipe Fitter.
• Experience in industrial fabrication, piping systems, and steel structures.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings independently.
• Knowledge and experience in pipe fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Experience working with petrochemical equipment such as heat exchangers, bundles, reactors, and pressure equipment is an advantage.
• Skilled in plasma and acetylene cutting operations.
• Knowledge of rigging procedures and safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and assembly instructions.
• Fabricate and assemble steel structures, pipes, subassemblies, and final assemblies according to project requirements.
• Prepare pipe and plate bevels for welding and fabrication activities.
• Perform cutting operations using plasma cutting and acetylene cutting equipment.
• Assemble piping units, components, and equipment accurately based on engineering drawings.
• Work with petrochemical equipment, including heat exchangers, bundles, reactors, and other pressure equipment.
• Perform pipe fitting activities including alignment, positioning, and fit-up of components.
• Conduct rigging activities by safely securing heavy objects and loads for lifting operations using cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition.
