DUCT INSTALLER/FABRICATOR
Qualifications:
- Filipino male, preferably not more than 48 years old.
- At least 3–5 years of overseas work experience in the relevant Duct Installer/Fabricator position.
- Must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate previous work experience and technical skills.
- Strong practical knowledge of ductwork fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, ductwork layouts, and project specifications.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, forming, assembling, and installing ductwork materials.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, sheet-metal tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of ventilation, air-conditioning, exhaust, and related ductwork systems.
- Good understanding of duct supports, fittings, joints, sealing, and installation methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Resume must include specific details of duties, responsibilities, equipment, tools, and scope of work performed.
- Must have verifiable employment experience and credible references.
- Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required.
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding fabrication and installation work.
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to comply with company and site requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret ductwork drawings, layouts, plans, and technical specifications.
- Measure and mark materials accurately according to project requirements.
- Fabricate ductwork and related components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Cut, bend, shape, assemble, and join sheet metal and other ductwork materials.
- Assemble duct sections, fittings, supports, flanges, and related components.
- Install ventilation, air-conditioning, exhaust, and other ductwork systems.
- Position and secure ductwork accurately according to approved drawings and layouts.
- Install duct supports, brackets, hangers, access panels, and other required fittings.
- Seal duct joints and connections to help ensure proper system performance.
- Inspect fabricated and installed ductwork for proper dimensions, alignment, fit, and workmanship.
- Use hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and sheet-metal fabrication machinery safely.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and repairs to ductwork as required.
- Coordinate with electricians, HVAC technicians, pipe fitters, welders, builders, and other site personnel.
- Follow project specifications, installation procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
- Identify and report material shortages, installation issues, equipment problems, or safety hazards.
- Complete assigned fabrication and installation work efficiently and according to project schedules.
- Maintain work records and documentation when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
