PIPE FITTER/INDUSTRIAL FITTER

Qualifications:

• Filipino male, preferably not more than 48 years old.
• At least 3–5 years of overseas work experience in a relevant Pipe Fitter or Industrial Fitter position.
• Must be able to clearly explain and demonstrate previous work experience and technical skills.
• Strong practical knowledge of industrial pipe fitting, fabrication, installation, and mechanical fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, technical plans, specifications, and layouts.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, aligning, and assembling pipes and mechanical components.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, piping systems, valves, pumps, flanges, fittings, and mechanical equipment.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment.
• Ability to perform accurate pipe fit-up and alignment prior to welding.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Resume must include specific details of duties, responsibilities, equipment, tools, and scope of work performed.
• Must have verifiable employment experience and credible references.
• Willing to take IELTS or PTE as required.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding industrial and construction-related work.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, adaptable, and willing to comply with company and site requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, piping layouts, plans, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, prepare, and fit pipes and mechanical components according to project requirements.
• Assemble and install industrial piping systems, pipe supports, valves, fittings, and related components.
• Perform pipe alignment, positioning, leveling, and fit-up prior to welding or final installation.
• Install, maintain, dismantle, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment safely and correctly.
• Conduct pipe fabrication, threading, grinding, drilling, and other fitting activities as required.
• Install pumps, valves, flanges, fittings, supports, and other mechanical components.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure proper alignment, dimensions, fit, and workmanship.
• Identify faulty, damaged, or worn components and carry out appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Assist welders with pipe preparation, fit-up, alignment, and positioning.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial piping and mechanical systems.
• Follow approved work procedures, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with welders, engineers, supervisors, mechanics, and other site personnel.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Report technical problems, material shortages, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Maintain work records and documentation when required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
