KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Motor Technician to support maintenance operations in oil and gas or fertilizer plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling AC/DC motors, generators, and other electromechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

ELECTRICAL MOTOR TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as an Electrical Motor Technician.
• Must have experience working in an Oil & Gas or Fertilizer plant.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, generators, motor rewinding, and electromechanical systems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electrical motors and rotating equipment.
• Proficient in using electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair AC/DC motors, generators, and electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle defective motors and generators for inspection and repair.
• Perform motor rewinding, coil replacement, insulation testing, and electrical repairs as required.
• Replace worn bearings, seals, brushes, and other mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Reassemble repaired motors and generators and perform functional testing to verify proper operation.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and equipment history documentation.
• Follow company policies and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
