KBR Services LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations in oil and gas or heavy industrial plant environments in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as an HVAC Maintenance Technician.
• Must have maintenance experience in an Oil & Gas or Heavy Industrial Plant.
• Must hold a Diploma in HVAC or a related technical qualification.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and refrigerant systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems in industrial facilities.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related faults to restore system performance.
• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, valves, filters, coils, and control devices.
• Conduct routine inspections, performance testing, and system calibration to ensure efficient operation.
• Monitor HVAC equipment performance and recommend maintenance or system improvements when necessary.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during scheduled maintenance and plant shutdown activities.
